When Ease Replaced the Spark

The Love Story of Cynthia and Jared

We both found Agape Match through a Google search, but what kept us there was not the promise of meeting someone. It was the people. From the very beginning, the team felt warm and caring, while still deeply professional. There was a sense that they weren’t rushing the process or forcing outcomes. They were listening.

Jared: At that stage of my life, I wasn’t chasing sparks. I was looking for alignment like shared values, mutual respect, and a partner who understood the importance of family and commitment. I trusted the process enough to stay open, even when I wasn’t sure where it would lead. Matchmaker Maria would hop on the phone and encourage me every step of the way.

Cynthia: I was simply in the database when Chrisoula, one of the matchmakers, reached out about a potential introduction. I was open to love, but no longer interested in guessing games. I wanted something real and intentional. I agreed to meet Jared. Later that week, our date was set for drinks at Analogue.

From the moment we sat down, something felt different. Not dramatic. Not overwhelming. Just easy.

Jared was funny, charming, and confident. We talked, we laughed, and for the first time in a long while, I didn’t feel like I was evaluating the moment. I was simply in it.

Jared:  My second date with Cynthia was dinner at Barbounia which the matchmakers also coordinated for us.

Cynthia: Jared values quality time, and that value has shaped our relationship in the most meaningful ways. We’ve traveled extensively together—around the United States and across the globe—building memories that feel both expansive and grounding.

What I admire most about Jared is the path he took to become who he is today. He is hardworking, deeply dedicated to his career, and intentional about the life he is building. We share similar family and political values, and the way he treats my family—with respect, warmth, and genuine care—has only deepened my love for him. I look up to him not just as a partner, but as the kind of man I know will be an incredible husband and father.

Jared: Even though I had other matches lined up, I knew Cynthia was the person I was searching for. I knew it was time to conclude my time with the matchmaking team. They were so happy for me. For both of us!

“Sometimes, love doesn’t announce itself loudly. It simply asks you to show up—and changes everything when you do.”

On June 27, 2025, Jared proposed. We are getting married  Summer 2026!

Jared:  Looking back, what surprises me most is not that I found love—but how calmly it arrived. Agape Match didn’t just introduce me to my fiancée. It created the conditions for clarity. It helped me trust the process enough to say yes to a date, and to recognize the right person when she was sitting across from me.

Cynthia: Even now, the team continues to support us with the same care they showed from the very beginning. That ongoing presence—the sense that our love story mattered beyond the match itself—means more than we can say.

We didn’t expect that one quiet introduction would end all other dates. But sometimes, love doesn’t announce itself loudly. Sometimes, it simply asks you to show up and changes everything when you do.
